Machines at Work

While driving in from Jasper this morning, I passed big trucks working. It was strange how it caught my attention, and how I followed the machines' movements with my eyes. It reminded me of watching construction work with two small boys at the VOH a few years ago. They were awed, as was I. It really is a beautiful yet wretched sight. Gears shifting, dust flying, loud noises, the earth shaking, but progress and movement all the while. Kinda cool.
