Dissertation Friday

My tea came with a quote from Walt Whitman: "Re-examine all you have been told... Dismiss what insults your Soul." I think I have been pretty proactive at guarding my heart and being resilient. I suppose time will tell if I need to "re-examine" any insults that may have seeped in and taken root.

Still writing. Today I am constructing a chart to organize all of the articles I've read about partnerships. I will also reread many of them to attempt to unearth the discourse of community prevalent in today's scholarship on partnerships. Then, hopefully, tonight, I will be able to organize it afresh into a narrative that is somehow academic, provocative, and inspiring.

And then there will be dancing!
