A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah

I began reading A Long Way Gone at breakfast this morning. It is incredibly sad. Ishmeal Beah and I are the same age but have had extremely different lives. My heart breaks for him, his family, and his country.
